Grand Prize Winner Will Win $3000!!!
What can you create with the low power Lattice MachXO2 PLD? We are challenging you to take the MachXO2 PLD Pico Development Kit and create your own unique design concept. Concepts that showcase innovations in low power dissipation, small footprint, or low system-level cost will get bonus points. Are you up for the Lattice “Do-It-All-PLD” Design Challenge? Entry is free. This four month, three-phase Design Challenge will have an online social community where contestants can display their design ideas to the electronics engineering community using the Lattice MachXO2 Pico Development Kit. A panel of Lattice and EDN judges will choose up to fifteen Semi-Finalists, and then up to five Finalists. Community Members will then vote for a Grand Prize Winner, who will be awarded $3,000!
Registered Community Members who vote for designs during the final phase are eligible to be selected at random to win one of ten $100 prizes. Read the complete details for prizes and contest rules and regulations.

Contestants should consider power, cost, and footprint, but originality of design and end application as the primary factors.
Submit a high-level description which describes the problem your unique subsystem attempts to address. Later provide a more detailed explanation of to how your idea will be implemented.
